John Fraser

John has a business law/commercial real estate practice. He acts on behalf of clients, public and private, who acquire, develop and sell shopping centres, residential and office complexes, hotel/recreation properties, as well as large multi-use urban projects. John is experienced in negotiating agreements relating to the financing, project management, land use and leasing of real estate as well as developing and implementing clients’ strategic plans. He is also experienced in dealing with investment structures including corporations, partnerships, limited partnerships and joint ventures.
HTL&N is honoured to welcome John to our firm.  John comes to HTL&N with a wealth of experience after spending over 35 years practicing at a large downtown law firm.

Ron Bozzer

Ron practises general business and corporate law, with emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, project finance, banking and financing transactions, regulation of financial institutions, public private partnerships and corporate restructurings. He has practiced for more than 35 years. Ron also advises on lending and compliance matters including syndications, derivatives, securitizations and letters of credit. Ron’s particularly expertise in project finance is in the transportation, real estate, mining, forestry, aeronautics and distribution sectors. Ron is also active in advising insurance companies and captive insurance companies.

HTL&N is pleased to announce that Ron Bozzer has decided to bring his thriving practice to HTL&N after many years of practice at a major downtown law firm.

Susan Do

Susan Do joins HTL&N as an associate as she continues to develop her growing business and real estate practice.  Susan is an exceptional asset for the future of HTL&N.

Ian Lawrenson

Ian LawrensonIan retired from the practice of law and HTL&N in 2009.

Ian had a long career advising clients on real estate matters, including buying, selling and leasing; construction contracts; zoning, subdivision and other land use matters and development and permit issues. He frequently acted for public bodies, including of school boards and Crown corporations, in relation to real estate and construction issues.Ian began his career at Ladner Downs before becoming a solicitor with the City of Vancouver Law Department. He joined Campney & Murphy in 1989 where he remained until founding HTL&N in September 2003.
