Tim conducts an active corporate and commercial practice, advising a wide range of clients on a variety of business transactions including mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, as well as corporate organizations and reorganizations. He has extensive experience in shareholders’ agreements, joint ventures and related dispute resolution, with particular experience in mining and resource law.
In addition to his corporate practice, Tim advises clients on technology and international trade matters, and the formation and continuation of both corporations and other business associations, including both federal and provincial not-for-profit entities.
Prior to founding HTL&N in September 2003, Tim was a partner with Campney & Murphy for almost 20 years.
Tim has led seminars both at the University of British Columbia Law School (Commercial Law Problems) and in-house (Environmental Law), and has been a guest lecturer for the Law Society’s Professional Legal Training Course (PLTC).
